Ten litres is the awkward size in blow molding. It is too large for a small single station machine to run economically and too small to justify a 100 litre drum frame. The MP80D sits exactly in that gap with a double station layout, a 150 kN clamp and a platen sized for 520 x 460 mm moulds.
Two stations working in parallel cut the idle share of every cycle. While one station cools an HDPE jerry can, the other is already accepting a fresh parison, which is why a double station 10 litre machine typically runs at close to twice the output of a single station frame drawing the same power.

A: Because 10 litre parts are cooling dominated. A double station machine overlaps cooling with the next shot, so the same installed power and floor space produce roughly twice the parts. A larger single station frame mainly buys clamp force you do not need at this part size.
Q: What hourly output can I expect on a 10L container?A: On a 10 litre HDPE can at typical wall thickness, a double station machine usually runs 120 to 180 pieces per hour depending on cooling water temperature. We confirm the figure with your mould during the factory trial and put it in writing.
Q: Is the 150 kN clamp really sufficient for 10 litres?A: It is, because clamp requirement tracks the parting line area, not the volume. A 10 litre container on a 520 x 460 mm platen is well inside the rating; we verify the projected area from your drawing before order so there is no surprise at commissioning.
Packaging, Delivery and Quality AssuranceThe machine ships in an export wooden case with steel reinforcement, moisture barrier film and anti-rust protection on machined surfaces. Delivery is 25 to 35 working days after deposit. Each unit is CE marked and built under ISO9001:2008 control, supplied with English manuals, a spare parts list and remote commissioning support.
