Die head type decides what a machine can actually make. A flat die suits standard bottles, a profile die suits parts with a shaped cross section, and a multi-layer die suits barrier containers. The MP80D accepts all three on the same head body, with three heating zones holding the melt at the exit.
The head is where the parison is formed, so it is also where wall distribution is won or lost. Three independent zones at 10 kW total let the operator hold the outer skin at the right temperature while keeping the flow channels stable, which is what a profile or multi-layer head needs to stay concentric.

A: A flat die produces a basically circular parison suited to conventional bottles. A profile die shapes the parison cross section to match a part with oval or rectangular geometry, which is how handle inserts and ducts are moulded without thinning at the corners.
Q: Can a multi-layer head be added later?A: It can, but it is a significant change because the head, flow plates and often the extruder interface are involved. Buyers who expect barrier work usually order the multi-layer head with the machine rather than retrofitting.
Q: How is wall thickness adjusted on a shaped part?A: Through the head adjustment screws and, where fitted, parison programming points. We set the profile on your mould during the trial using a sectioned sample, and record it in the recipe.
Packaging, Delivery and Quality AssuranceDie heads ship in a dedicated foam lined crate with flow plates wrapped and numbered, the machine in an export wooden case with steel reinforcement and anti-rust film. Delivery is 25 to 35 working days after deposit. CE marking, ISO9001:2008 production control, English documentation, 12 month warranty and commissioning support are included.
