Electrical capacity is a real constraint in established factories. A buyer with a 100 kVA transformer often cannot add a large machine without a substation upgrade, which is why the installed power figure deserves as much attention as clamping force when specifying a line.
The MP80D is installed at 80 kW total, split across 15.85 kW of screw heating, 10 kW of head heating, a 30 kW extrusion motor and an 18.7 kW oil pump. That balance is deliberately chosen so the machine produces at full rate without demanding a supply upgrade in most plants.

A: Yes, the standard build is 380V, 50Hz, three phase with 80 kW installed. We ask for your site voltage and frequency at order stage and configure the electrical build accordingly, including 415V or 60Hz where needed.
Q: Why does the heating total differ from the installed power?A: Heating elements cycle on and off once the barrel reaches temperature, so their average draw is far below the rated 25.85 kW. The 80 kW figure is the sum of connected loads, which is what cable and breaker sizing must be based on.
Q: Does low installed power mean lower output?A: No. Output is set by screw geometry and melt capacity, both of which reach 90 kg/h on HDPE. The electrical design simply avoids over-sizing motors and heating, which also reduces running cost.
Packaging, Delivery and Quality AssuranceThe machine ships with ports capped and cabinet sealed with desiccant inside an export wooden case with steel reinforcement and moisture barrier film. Delivery is 25 to 35 working days after deposit. CE certification, ISO9001:2008 records, English electrical drawings, a 12 month warranty and remote commissioning support are included.
