Wall thickness is where resin cost and bottle strength meet. A bottle that is uniformly 2.5 mm wastes material at the handle and is thin at the corners; a bottle with programmed thickness puts material only where the blow-up ratio demands it. The MOOG parison control option on the MP70D-2 makes that programmable.

The platform itself is a three layer machine on a double station frame, so the wall structure can combine virgin skin, regrind core and barrier layer while the parison profile is varied point by point through the cycle. Thickness data is stored with the recipe, which means a repeat order runs to the same weight without a new trial.

A: On a 1L bottle with corner thinning, programmed profiles commonly reduce weight by 5 to 12 percent against a uniform parison while improving the minimum wall in the corners. We measure the actual figure on your mould and bottle drawing before quoting the option.

A: It is set once with our technician during commissioning using a sectioned sample. The profile is stored with the recipe, so subsequent runs are a recall plus a first article weight check, not a fresh tuning exercise.

A: Yes, it is a retrofit kit including the servo valve, transducer feedback and software key. Field retrofits are scheduled with a MEPER technician on site, usually across two working days including validation.

Die heads are crated separately with flow plates numbered and the parison control valve packed in shock absorbing foam. Machines ship on wooden pallets inside plywood cases, 25 to 35 working days after deposit.
