Three Layer Blow Moulding Machine for 1L HDPE Lubricant Bottles

Oil blenders and lubricant packers face one recurring cost problem: scrap. A three layer blow moulding machine solves it by hiding regrind in the middle of the bottle wall, where it never touches the product and never shows on the shelf. The MEPER three layer head does this without disturbing the surface finish of the outer skin.

On the MP70D-2 platform the multi-layer die head is a self-manufactured component, machined in house to keep layer concentricity within tight tolerance. The view strip line that shows oil level is formed in the same shot, so no secondary operation is needed and the transparent strip stays optically clear.

A: For a 2.5 mm wall we usually set 0.5 mm outer virgin skin, 1.5 mm regrind core and 0.5 mm inner virgin layer. The proportion is adjusted through the die head flow plates and verified by a section cut on the first samples, which we photograph and send before shipment.

A: No. The outer skin is always virgin compound, so the visible colour is controlled entirely by the outer layer. This is why three layer machines are preferred for branded lubricant bottles where colour consistency is a marketing requirement.

A: It requires a dedicated die head with a strip channel and a mould with a polished strip zone. We review drawings of your current bottle and quote the head and mould modification together, so the strip runs clean from the first trial.

The multi-layer head ships in a dedicated foam-lined crate, with flow plates individually wrapped and numbered. Machines are delivered 25 to 35 working days after deposit, ex Ningbo.
