Large drum lines have a peculiar cost structure: the machine is idle for a large share of every cycle because a 100 litre part needs a long cooling phase. A fixed displacement hydraulic pump keeps drawing power through that idle time, which is why energy can reach a quarter of the operating cost.

The MP100FD uses a servo driven pump that follows the cycle. During cooling the pump almost stops; during clamp and carriage movement it delivers exactly the flow needed. On the same drum cycle this measures 25 to 30 percent lower consumption than a conventional fixed pump machine.

A: It is where the benefit is largest. The longer the cooling phase, the more time the pump spends near idle, so a drum line saves more than a small container line running short cycles.

A: The drive is a standard industrial component and the motor and pump can be isolated for replacement without dismantling the machine. We supply the drive model and wiring diagram so a local supplier can source a replacement quickly.

A: The oil tank is 350 litres, sized for thermal stability rather than for hydraulic flow. Even with the servo system, oil volume matters on a drum line because heat builds over a long shift.

Hydraulic oil is drained and ports capped, the cabinet sealed with desiccant and the machine secured inside a fumigation-free export wooden case with steel framing.
