Four Die Head Blow Molding Equipment for 20L HDPE Jerry Cans

A large machine that runs one part per cycle is an expensive way to make jerry cans. The MP100FD accepts single, double and four die head configurations on the same extruder, so a plant can start with one head, add a second when volume grows, and move to four when the order book justifies it.

Head changes are a tooling exercise, not a rebuild. The die head mounts on the same accumulator body, and the PLC stores a recipe for each configuration, so cycle timing and clamping force follow the head count rather than being re-entered by hand.

A: Roughly the head count, provided cooling and cooling water capacity keep up. On a 20L jerry can, four heads typically give three to four times the single head rate; we quote the cycle and hourly figure for your exact part before order.

A: We balance the flow channels at build and verify each cavity weight during the trial, with the variation sheet supplied in the documents. On a 20L can, cavity to cavity variation normally stays within a couple of percent.

A: Yes. The accumulator body accepts the additional heads and the PLC software is already licensed for four. Most buyers order the machine four head ready and buy the extra heads when volume arrives.

Die heads are crated separately with flow plates wrapped and numbered, and the machine travels in a fumigation-free export wooden case with steel reinforcement and VCI anti-rust film.
